Michael Yuen

About 

I am an Associate Researcher (US equivalent: Research Associate Professor) in the Department of Philosophy at East China Normal University, Shanghai.  I received my Ph.D. in Philosophy from the Australian National University in 2022. 

Previously, I was a Visiting Assistant Professor of Philosophy at New York University Shanghai, an adjunct Lecturer in Philosophy at the Australian National University, and a visiting researcher at Princeton University. I held a Postdoctoral Fellowship at New York University Shanghai from 2022 to 2025. 

My research focuses on the history of philosophy (especially Kant), contemporary epistemology, and moral psychology (and related issues in the philosophy of religion). My research has been published in leading journals such as the Canadian Journal of Philosophy and Kantian Review.
